Abstract

In the particular case of the area in study (Central semiarid region of the Province of Córdoba) plants in most alfalfa fields present nodules. As a first approximation, and to avoid ecological problems of poor adaptation or competition of introduced strains, which are difficult to evaluate or modify the characteristics of native stains, selected among the isolated those of higer simbiotic Nitrogen fixation capacity and their response to different alfalfa cultivars. were studied.
